Take that cold temperatures
My wife and I decided to camp near saguaro national park. What a beautiful area. We arrived late in afternoon, we got out of the van and did our customary stretch, then we went for a walk. The wind was blowing and I could feel the chill cutting through my light vest. The walk was filled with little sparrows greeting us with a song and a most beautiful arizona sunset mixed with a few clouds that were painted with pastel shades of pink, grey, and whites. As we walked back to our camp I noticed several gamble quail roosting in a palo verde getting ready for the night that was fast approaching. Arriving back at the van my wife had a glass of red wine and I had a cold beer and we shared a snack while we gave toast to our backroads adventure and all the beautiful desert scenery that passed along as drove. The time passed quickly and the night air became cold so we climbed into our van. My wife got ready for bed and I got our our Mr. Heater Buddy heater and set it up near the side door where I had the window cracked open for ventilation, then with a turn of a knob and a downward push the heater came to life. With in a few moments the little blue flame had turned the heating grate to a comforting orange glow and the van was toasty warm and comfortable. I shut the heater down and left it sitting near the side door, I closed the window and sealed the heat in for the night. My wife was asleep and It was time for me to do the same. As I drifted off to sleep my thoughts turned to being greatful for our little Mr heater buddy heater which kept us warm on this cold desert night.
Goodnight all…
